Terms of Service

Welcome to Kate Hanson Co. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, enrolling in, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


1. Introduction

This Terms of Service governs your use of all services provided by Kate Hanson Co., including but not limited to coaching, consulting, digital products, memberships, and live events.

Our services are designed to support personal and professional growth through coaching, mindset development, and business strategy. They are not substitutes for medical, financial, or legal advice.


2. General Terms (Applies to All Services)

2.1 Payment & Billing

  • All payments must be made in full before accessing our services unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Payments may be processed via Stripe, PayPal, or other approved methods.

  • Subscription-based services renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

  • Late payments beyond five (5) business days may incur a reasonable late fee under Canadian law.

  • Access to services may be suspended if payment remains outstanding after thirty (30) days.

  • Chargebacks are not permitted. Clients are responsible for all collection or legal fees incurred due to failed payments or chargebacks.

2.2 Refunds & Cancellations

  • Private Coaching & Consulting: No refunds once sessions are scheduled. Rescheduling requires at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Group Programs & Memberships: No refunds after the program start date.

  • Digital Products & Courses: All sales are final due to the nature of digital delivery.

  • Live Events & Workshops: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

2.3 Client Responsibilities

Clients must be punctual, committed, and engaged in their coaching process.
Results depend on client implementation and personal responsibility.

2.4 Coaching Methodology

Our approach includes:

Clients understand that results vary and depend on individual effort, mindset, and circumstances.

2.5 Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all discussions and coaching materials.
The Company may share confidential information with contractors or representatives solely for service fulfillment.

2.6 Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from participation in our services.
Coaching is not therapy or medical treatment. Clients are responsible for seeking appropriate professional support if needed.


3. Service-Specific Terms

3.1 Coaching Services (Private & Group)

  • Up to 8 private calls (60 minutes each) unless otherwise specified.

  • Private direct message support (Monday–Thursday) for voice and text communication.

  • Sessions missed by more than 10 minutes are considered forfeited.

3.2 Digital Courses & Products

  • Lifetime access applies to the life of the product, not the client.

  • Content may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.

3.3 Memberships & Subscriptions

  • Renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

  • No refunds for unused time after cancellation.

3.4 Live Events & Workshops

  • Tickets are non-transferable unless approved by the Company.

  • The Company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events if necessary.


4. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed by the laws of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in Manitoba courts.
International clients agree to Manitoba jurisdiction by purchasing or using our services.


5. Global Sales Policy

  • Clients are responsible for compliance with their local laws.

  • Any applicable taxes, duties, or fees are the responsibility of the client.


6. Disclaimers & Warranties

  • The Company makes no guarantees about financial, business, or personal outcomes.

  • Testimonials represent individual experiences and do not promise similar results.

  • The Company may recommend third-party resources but is not responsible for their performance.


7. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Acts of nature (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics)

  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest

  • Travel restrictions or vendor failures


8. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold Kate Hanson Co. harmless from any claims, losses, or disputes resulting from participation in our services.


9. Non-Disparagement

Clients agree not to make defamatory or negative public statements about the Company or its representatives.
The Company agrees not to disparage clients publicly.


10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.


11. Agreement & Acceptance

By purchasing or using any services from Kate Hanson Co., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
